• Fifth generation Oklahoman who teaches Communication and Public Speaking skills
• Mr. Stone serves as the Department Head of Humanities at OSU-OKC
• President-Elect of the Oklahoma Association of Developmental Education
• Teaches classes, manages budgets, plans special events, designs promotional materials, and publishes books and journal articles
• Areas of expertise: classroom instruction, training process improvement, assessment instrument construction, communication and technology audits, new technology adoption, team building facilitation, leadership development, executive speech coaching, and academic program review
• Produced technical writings for Column Financial, First Union Bank, Paine Webber, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, GE, Capital Real Estate, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan Chase Bank, UBS, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Wells Fargo, Trammell & Crow, Greenberg Traurig and many other Fortune 500 Companies and respected Law Firms
• Consults for academic organizations, unions, non-profits, and political candidates.
• Received a BA in Speech/Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University where he was Captain of the Debate team, an All-American Debater, and a recipient of the President’s Excellence Scholarship.
• Earned a Masters degree from Ball State University in Communication Liberal Arts Studies where he received a Teaching and Debate Coaching Assistantship.
• Certificate of Achievement in Training and Development from the University of Oklahoma’s College of Continuing Studies (OUTREACH) and the American Society of Training and Development-Central Oklahoma Chapter
• Enjoys reading, applying technology, watching and playing football, working with wood, playing chess, listening to music, coaching little league, and playing the guitar.
